The Pen Magazine
The Pen is an educational, cultural, quarterly magazine which covers the Islamic faith, worship, the issues of the Islamic world, and the struggles towards the ittihad (unity) of Muslims. It is published four times a year in January, April, July, and October.
Every print issue of The Pen covers and sheds light into the topics which are of great importance for the believers such as the existence and oneness of Allah, the proofs of the existence of Hereafter, the mission of prophethood, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his way of life (Sunnah), and the reasons behind the creation of man and the test of life. The Pen asks “Why” rather than “What” and “How” while explaining the issues of Islamic belief and pillars.
The Pen is inspired by the Risale-i Nur collection written by Imam Bediuzzaman Said Nursi who is one of the most effective scholars of the modern age, and addresses the minds, the hearts, and the souls of people in a convincing manner in his treatises.
On the other hand, The Pen also deals with the topics related to agonies, pains, and problems in the entire Islamic world. Especially, Muslims’ turning into a body made up of concordant parts is a lofty ideal for The Pen that it devotes its pages without limitation. For that reason, the articles analysing the problems before the unity of Muslims are published periodically in the magazine. The magazine welcomes new writers who want to write on these topics.
The Pen feels itself in the beginning of its experience however it is aware of the pitfalls and handicaps of the way that it will walk. Yet, it believes if you want something to happen you have to work harder, and also it believes something will happen if you do not begrudge your help, because Allah does not begrudge His help if Muslims come together for a sincere target.
