Feasts, Festivities, and Special Occasions in Islam

Islam has enacted two festivals which have special timings, rituals and ceremonies. These special occasions have effective benefits for social and individual well-being. Islam, the religion of fitrah (nature), allows its followers to experience the pleasures, joy, and gaiety of festivals and celebrations.
