The Mirror and the Soil

The soil said to the mirror: “I envy of you! Whoever looks at you sees himself, but the ones who look at me see only me!”

The mirror responded the soil: “O soil! Why do you get worried for a futile trouble! Do not you know that I show today of those who look at me but you show them their future?!”

Although the soil liked this response it asked again: “It is obvious you speak to calm me down. Answer me, do those who look at you ever look at me?”

And the mirror said the following with a bitter smile: “Do not worry! Those who do not have face to look at me will always look at you.”
